Baltimore Ravens: NFL 2019 - AFC North

In what looked like a lost season after Joe Flacco's injury, it turned into a playoff trip and division title, with newcomer Lamar Jackson taking the starting position in place of Flacco and an attack based on imposing the ground game and still a strong defense, the Ravens have won six of their last seven games and reached the playoffs, losing to the Los Angeles Chagers in the Wild Card Round by 23x17. The team has retained head coach John Harbaugh for this season and Lamar Jackson will take over ownership of the team after Joe Flacco's departure.

The team made investments to mount the attack around second-half Lamar Jackson, with Mark Ingram being yet another quality option in the ground game and the wide Marquise Brown being selected with the team's first round choice in the last draft. The team, however, lost important defense pieces, with linebackers leaving: CJ Mosley, Za'Darius Smith and Terrell Suggs, in addition to safety Eric Weddle, the most impactful reinforcement was safety Earl Thomas on a four-year contract.
