Denver Broncos: NFL 2019 - AFC West

The Broncos had some good points last season, such as the emergence of running back duo Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman, as well as excellent linebacker rookie year Bradley Chubb, but Case Keenum failed as the team's quarterback and the team lost their last four games of the season, ending with a 6-10 W / L campaign and getting out of the playoffs for the 3rd consecutive. The poor performance of the team caused the head coach Vance Joseph and all his coaching staff to be fired.

John Elway gave up Case Keenum as the team's quarterback, switching him to the Redskins and making a trade-up for experienced Baltimore Ravens Joe Flacco, who will be the new starter. The Broncos also sought to strengthen the free agency secondary with the signings of: Kareem Jackson and Bryce Callahan, while Ja'Wuan James was the team's main addition to an offensive line that had already come from a decent season. In the draft, along with another name for the offensive line and a quarterback to be developed in the future, Elway selected tigh end Noah Fant with his 1st round choice, hoping the player could have an immediate impact on the attack.
