Green Bay Packers: NFL 2019 - NFC North

The Packers are coming from a frustrating season where they have won only six games, with Aaron Rodgers playing all 16 games but not 100% and suffering from a lack of consistent receivers and an atrocious offensive line, which allowed 53 sacks on the quarterback, while the defense remained weak. The bad season led to head coach Mike McCarthy being fired in the middle of the campaign.

Under the command of GM Brian Gutekunst, the Packers were the 2nd team that spent the most in free agency, focusing on defense came linebackers: Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith, as well as safety Adrian Amos. The team lost veterans Clay Matthews and Randall Cobb. In the draft, the team also sought to strengthen the defense by selecting linebacker Rashan Gary and safety Darnell Savage in the first round.
