Match Report: Man United vs Leicester City

Manchester United have registered their second Premier League victory of the season by beating Leicester City 1-0 at Old Trafford in their fifth consecutive game in the English Premier League.

Andreas Pereira had one of the first chances in the match as the score was unlocked in the eighth minute after a penalty was awarded to the home side.

Marcus Rashford took charge and from the white spot proved accurate by beating goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel (8 ′).

The first half produced no other cases to mention, while in the second half James Maddison risked a free kick.

Rashford, too, was dangerous from the free-kick on the other hand, until Wilfred Ndidi had a great chance to level the score in the extra minutes, but he didn't get it.

It was Manchester United's second victory to record two draws and one loss, and eight points in fourth place.  Leicester City is a place below with equal points.

In the next round, the Red Devils are West Ham United guests, while Leicester host Tottenham Hotspur.
