New Orleans Saints: NFL 2019 - NFC South

The Saints had a strong season, which could have culminated in a Super Bowl appearance if the team received a lack of pass interference at the end of the Divisional Round against the Philadelphia Eagles. The defense made strides in restraining the ground game and Drew Brees had another great season, commanding one of the league's best attacks.

The Saints lost some pieces in the attack with the departure of running back Mark Ingram and the retirement of center Max Unger. The team brought in some defense pieces, such as: Malcom Brown and Kiko Alonso, gave Drew Brees another target at tigh end Jared Cook and sought solutions for OL by choosing Erik McCoy in round 2 of the draft and signing with the guard.
