Seattle Seahawks: NFL 2019 - NFC West

2018 was expected to be a year of rebuilding for the Seahawks, but Russell Wilson ended up having the best season of his career and coupled with a strong ground game, led the team into a positive and vague playoff campaign, even backed by a weak defense. . Post-season, Seattle soon dropped Wild Card, losing to the Cowboys 24x22 in a tightly contested game.

The Seahawks offered a big deal to Russell Wilson after last season and didn't have much money to spend on free agency. The defense suffered major losses with the departures of Earl Thomas, Frank Clark and Justin Coleman, while wide receiver Doug Baldwin retired after suffering injuries last season. Mike Iupati was the team's main free agency signing, with the team seeking to reinforce an offensive line that allowed 51 sacks on Wilson last season. The team had many choices in the last draft and sought to select players for the most needy positions of the team, the defensive line, the secondary and the receiving group.
