Shields vs Habazin

At the weekend, US American Claressa Shields battles Ivana Habazin for world title in the third weight class.

Since 2016, the two-time Olympic gold winner is professional boxer: Claressa Shields.  Since then, she rose with well-known opponents in the ring and secured world title in two weight classes.  In the only fourth professional fight she defeated the German Nikki Adler by TKO in round 5 and secured the WBC and IBF World Cup title in super middleweight.  It followed, against the then world champion super welterweight,

Hanna Gabriels, the vacant WBA and IBF titles, which Shields combined with the WBO and WBC titles against the German Christina Hammer a short time later to become "Undisputed Championesse".

On the weekend now, more specifically on the night of Saturday to Sunday German time, Shields rises again in the ring.  In super welterweight, the only 24-year-old crowned the world champion in the third weight class.  At the Dort Federal Event Center in the US city of Flint, Shields (9-0, 2 KOs) rises against the former Croatian world champion Ivana Habazin (20-3 (1), 7 KOs) in the boxing ring.  For both boxers, it is about the two vacant World Cup title of the WBO and the WBC and the also vacant WBC Diamond title in the Super Welterweight.
