EFL Cup: Chelsea vs MUFC

The 1-2 defeat to Liverpool made a big turning point for Chelsea.  After this defeat, the Blues stood up strongly by 7 consecutive victories in all competitions.  Not only extremely high performance, Chelsea also performed an effective play, rich in emotion and positive energy that made the fans extremely excited.  In the past series, Chelsea have won 7-1 at home to Grimsby Town, thereby winning the right to enter the fourth round of the League Cup this year and then face Man Utd in this match.

In addition to good playing mentality and sublimation performance, Chelsea also has a strong fulcrum at home, where they have won the last 3 times to welcome the last visitors, scoring a total of 10 goals and only conceding only  1 times.  The performances in recent times also show that Chelsea has become much older and more experienced competition than themselves.  That makes people believe very strongly in a victory of the Blues in the match against MU tonight.

On the other side, Man Utd is no longer himself compared to the time more than 2 months ago.  Since beating Chelsea in the opening match of the 2019/20 Premier League season, the Red Devils began to fall into a crisis that made them at the bottom half of the table, very close to the dangerous area.  While Solskjaer's chair was shaking violently, the Reds got a draw against Liverpool and a victory over Norwich City to return to the race to the top 4. And also because of this, high possibility  As Solskjaer teachers and students will focus on a top goal of a position in the top 4, so the League Cup arena becomes not so important.

This makes the risk of MU defeat Chelsea more clearly.  In particular, the Reds are also facing with great worries about personnel when the pillars such as Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Luke Shaw are all injured.  Therefore coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has even more reason to use young players in this match.  All reasons support a victory for Chelsea.  This is an opportunity for the blue team to recover the debt before MU 2 months ago.
