EFL Cup: OUFC vs Sunderland

Oxford is experiencing a series of uplifting days in this season.  They showed their transformation, from being a mediocre team to being one of the candidates to play in the Championship next season.

Statistics from football matchmaker said that in the past 10 matches, Oxford received only 1 defeat, the rest were 7 victories and 2 draws.  Those are numbers that are only for big teams and do not appear in a mid-range team.

The foundation for Oxford to play successfully now is the attack, when in the last 5 matches, Mr. Robinson's teachers and students have hit the opponent's net up to 12 goals.  Oxford at the present time is really a formidable name for any team.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the front line, Oxford's opponent will be Sunderland.  This is one of the teams that used to play in the English Premier League, but after many crises, they have slipped to not break down to the English Third Division.

Sunderland's squad was also so degraded.  They can only attract young players or "elders" to play instead of potential names.
