MMA Fighting - Bellator 232

Bellator returned to one of their favorite cities by hosting another good-quality event on a quiet Friday night.  This is Bellator 231, based in Uncasville, Connecticut in the United States, which had a card full of names known to the general public.

In their main fight, veterans Frank Mir and Roy Nelson met again at the center of the cage eight years after their first confrontation.  And just as in 2011, the former UFC heavyweight champion again won the “Big Country” by unanimous decision, ending a negative sequence of five losses.

Already in the co-main fight of the night, former light heavyweight champion Phil Davis scored his fourth win in his last five fights, overcoming good Swede Karl Albrektsson by TKO in the third round of the match.
