NBA 2019: Cleveland Cavaliers

Most of last year's roster was kept almost intact. Kevin Love , star of the team, and Tristan Thompson , are now the only survivors (along with Dellavedova, but returned last year after a break with the Bucks ) of the title won in 2016. JR Smith, after 5 years, has definitively abandoned the 'Ohio , hoping to get an engagement able to welcome him for his latest NBA train.

From the free agency (also considering the arrival last December of John Henson , former long coming from the Milwaukee Bucks) elements of reinforcement arrived, including Levi Randolph (ex Avellino ), Dean Wade and Jarrell Martin (ex Memphis Grizzlies). The choice is certainly clear: do not clog up the salary cap too much , to get to the next free agency with an abundant wallet to spend, in a decided reconstruction intent.

The most interesting elements, however, came out of the draft: 3 were the calls of the Cavaliers, namely Kevin Porter Jr. (30 th choice via Bucks); Dylan Windler (26th choice); and above all Darius Garland, the fifth absolute choice. On the latter are the greatest hopes, given his statistics collected in the last year at the college (16.2 points with 47% from 3 points, even if in only 5 games played) and his possibility of living together with the other gem in the Cavaliers house, Colin Sexton .
