West Ham vs SUFC

| |

After nine rounds, both West Ham and Sheffield Utd won 12 points and got positions in the middle of the table.  For West Ham, such a score is not really impressive because they own a good quality squad.  While with a rookie like Sheffield Utd, the same position is said to be successful.

Historically, West Ham did not stand out against Sheffield Utd, they even proved inferior when losing more than winning.  In the last 2 encounters, The Hammers could not defeat Sheffield Utd, including 0-3 defeat in the field of Sheffield Utd in the second leg of the 2006/2007 season.

In addition, at the present time, West Ham are not in good form with 4 consecutive games without winning on the participating fronts, and they lost to 3 times of them.  On the opposite side, Sheffield Utd again showed discomfort and proved to be a tough opponent.  The newcomer just won Arsenal with the minimum score and it was the third match in a row that Sheffield Utd overcame.

Away from home, Sheffield Utd have never failed this season, and they won the ratio of all 4 rounds away from home from the beginning of the season.  In those four matches, it is worth mentioning that Sheffield Utd drew Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.  Obviously, defeating Sheffield Utd at this time is not simple, especially with an erratic team like West Ham.
