Barnsley vs Bristol

A few days ago, Barnsley clashed with Huddersfield in what looked like a reverse final to the English First Division this season.  This failure made Barnsley really no way back.  They are at the bottom of the standings with only 8 points gained after 14 rounds and are 4 points behind the safety group.  Perhaps the rookie of The Championship 2019/20 has already sensed the harsh reality of the tournament and has yet to find a way to get better results.

Barnsley's form is poor, having failed to win any of the 14 appearances since the beginning of August.  At home, they also drew and lost in the last 7 times to welcome guests.  Struggling at the bottom of the board, Barnsley desperately needed points.  But things did not support the home team when their guest in this round was a Bristol who was sublime and stable throughout the time.

Bristol plays very well this season.  They are the 2nd team losing the 2nd in the English First Division, only inferior to the top of West Brom table.  In the last 6 rounds, this team lost only 1 match, the rest won 2 and drew 3. The away record of the students of coach Johnson is also extremely respectable when only 1 loss after 8 operations  passed.  Stable, Bristol is ranked 6th on the scoreboard, only inferior to the team on the difference in goal difference.  That is the motivation for them to do well through each round to gain a higher position.

Despite being a guest in today's match, Bristol City still confidently won all 3 points because their opponent was too weak.  In the past, Barnsley had never won against Bristol.  They lost 2 and drew 4 in the last 6 times the two teams met.  In particular, the confrontation between Barnsley vs Bristol City often takes place with attractive and open script.  Statistics show that in the past 7 meetings, the two teams have scored a total of 33 goals, an average of nearly 4.5 goals / game.
