Celtic have won the Scottish League Cup final against their hated rival, Rangers, with a minimal 1-0 result at the meeting in Glasgow's Hampden Park.

The big final of the Scotland Cup between the two big rivals has brought action, excitement and winners within 90 minutes.

In the end those who enjoyed the triumph were the Celtic players who minimally won the challenge after a goal in the second half.

The first part of the meeting was characterized by the best Rangers game, but despite numerous occasions, failed to wobble the net.

In the second half, the game was more equal between the two teams, but it was only Celtic who found the goal.

The only goal in the match came in the 60th minute and it was Christopher Jullien who scored the goal that turned out to be the 1-0 victory for Celtic.

The Rangers had an ideal opportunity to equalize in the 64th minute after Jeremie Frimpong's red card, but Alfredo Morelos missed a penalty and the match ended 1-0.

This was the 19th time in history that Celtic have won the Scottish League Cup.
