EFL: Swans vs Derby

Since the Huddersfield win in early August 2019, Derby County has not won any more away games. They played an additional 13 matches but could only draw and lose (draw 5, lose 8).

The poor performance on away field is one of the reasons why Derby County has only 40 points, ranking 13th in the league table. This is a disappointing result for Derby County, considering that this team has reached the promotion play-off group last season.

Before the poor performance of Derby County on the away field, the house has a reason to list the ratio of 0: 1/2 in tonight's game when Phillip Cocu's teachers and students have to meet Swansea, the team that is ranked 8th on the table.

At the home ground of Liberty, Swansea has won 2 games in a row against Charlton and Wigan. As a result, the Welsh team is maintaining a 5-match unbeaten match at their home (won 3, draw 2). However, that does not mean that "swans" will easily get 3 points at the reception of Derby County tonight.

The obvious issue of Swansea this season is the inefficient attack. After 30 rounds, the Welsh team has only scored 35 goals, just over 2 teams Wigan (28 goals) and Middlesbrough (30 goals). Therefore, in the above door, "swan" is often disappointing. In 15 home games played, they only 7 times triumphal track. Swansea's home win rate is only 40%, ranking 17th in the Championship.

Currently, Swansea is also showing poor performance. Including the last Preston draw, they only had 2 wins in the last 7 rounds. Not to mention, looking back at the past, the "swans" did not know the smell of victory in the recent 5 matches against Derby County (draw 3, lose 2).

Contrary to that, Derby County showed great prosperity in the second leg. Not to say far, in the last 7 rounds of the Championship, Phillip Cocu's teachers and students only lost 1 match (won 4, drew 2, lost 1). Not to mention, in the middle of the week, they also had a great excitement when they passed Northampton in the replay of the FA Cup fourth round.
