EFL: Watford vs BORO

Last season, Watford ended five consecutive seasons of playing in the Premier League when he ranked only 19/20 of the final team, 1 point behind the safety zone and had to go down to play in the English First Division 2020/21.  .  In such a situation, it is not surprising that Watford is unable to retain some of the pillars.  In particular, the most outstanding thing is that they have to sell main midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure to Everton

In the opposite direction, Watford has so far brought back a remarkable name: striker Glenn Murray from Brighton on loan.  It was this player who scored 1 goal from 11m in a 2-0 victory in the last friendly match before the season to meet the big Tottenham.  But that day Spurs only launched the reserve squad.

Starting the Championship 2020/21 with a home game is of course a huge advantage for Watford.  But the home team Vicarage Road was at a disadvantage in terms of force when three important names including Andre Gray, Ismaila Sarr and Troy Deeney were injured and could not play.

On the other side of the front line, Middlesbrough (ranked 17th out of 24 teams in the Championship last season) is fortunate to have stability in terms of numbers, not many changes, but it is important to remember that the summer transfer window of 2020 must not end until early October.  end.  However, Boro can rest assured ahead of time.

Thanks to the force that is basically maintained, Middlesbrough also maintains a stable performance.  In the last 4 matches in all competitions, Middlesbrough have won only 7 matches away, Middlesbrough won 6.

Therefore, despite the 1/2 handicap (actually this level is also reasonable because Watford had just dropped from the Premier League, played at home, while the last time Boro attended the Premier League was 2016/17), the experts  subject still believes that Middlesbrough will have points, which means winning according to TLCA.
