EPL: BHAFC vs Newcastle

This Sunday, Newcastle welcomes Graham Potter's Gulls to the Sport Direct Arena but sadly the stadium is locked with no fans. A review of their past matches that lasted from September 24, 2017 shows that Newcastle United have not won with 4 draws. In addition, the lack of goals in those matches is quite often when only a total of 4 goals are scored between them combined.

Newcastle United are hoping to win again after a 1-0 EFL Cup win over Blackburn Rovers in the lower division. In that match, Newcastle United held the ball 36% and had 5 shots, including 2 hits, the only player to score for Newcastle United was Ryan Fraser (35 '). Plus, young Jamal Lewis fired from the left flank, well linked with St Max. Goals were scored by Messrs Wilson, Hendrick and Fraser; while new goalkeeper Geordie helped them beat West Ham with a score of 3-0. Fabian Schär (Shoulder Injury), Martin Dubravka (Heel Injury) and Dwight Gayle (Anterior Cross Ligament Injury) are not present for Newcastle manager Steve Bruce.

The match also raised some major injury concerns for Albion, as the young center-back was appreciated, Ben White and new Liverpool veteran Adam Lallana were eliminated. The first match was assessed as suspicious, the second being 50/50 for Sunday encounter with birds. While Newcastle wiped out The Hammers on Saturday night, the visitors had to wait another 48 hours before suffering their opening 1-3 defeat to Chelsea. Of course, there is nothing to be ashamed of to lose to such a big man, but after controlling well the game, Brighton will feel disappointed when losing 3 goals is quite sloppy. Brighton will enter this encounter following a 4-0 EFL Cup win over Portsmouth in their last game, Brighton & Hove Albion controlled 62% of possession and 23 shots with 10 on target, The scorers were Alexis Mac Allister (38 '), Alireza Jahanbakhsh (54'), Bernardo (57 ') and Gyökeres (71').
