Both Tottenham and West Ham will be looking to maintain good form recently as they meet in the London derby in this fifth round. West Ham has flourished after losing the first two games of the season in the Premier League with stunning victories over Wolves and Leicester. Tottenham are flying high after beating Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford and will have 3 straight wins if not a controversial VAR late penalty in their previous game against Newcastle.

The next four Spurs matches look viable and Jose Mourinho's side will be very quick to challenge the title. Jose Mourinho will have to sweat over the fitness of some of his England players, including Harry Kane, who has complained of international break fatigue and Eric Dier, but is able to Gareth Bale debuted Spurs in the 2nd stage he played for Rooster. Tottenham are flying high in front of goal but Harry Kane's fitness will be a worrying issue and West Ham's form gives them reason to worry about their ability to shoot. Tottenham are on a streak of triumphs beating Chelsea and Manchester United in the same week. England captain and amulet Harry Kane suffered minor injuries during the international break. 

Craig Dawson went to West Ham on loan from Watford and could make his defense debut the day he reunites with the old club. Spurs won both matches against West Ham last season but before that, the competition between the two teams has been relatively equal in recent seasons. In total, the two sides have met 214 times, in which Spurs won 98, West Ham won 64 and the remaining 52 games ended with a draw. After a bad start, bold victories in the last two games against Wolves and Leicester will bring some hope to worried West Ham fans.
