EPL: Wolves vs Eagles

Wolves are unbeaten in the last 3 Premier League matches, winning 7 points. Remember, Wolves should have won all three rounds here, if they did not drop the unfortunate score against Newcastle.

In that match, Wolves played well, led the opponent and was equalized only 1-1 in the 89th minute. That was also the match where Wolves let Newcastle split points from the single hit shot in the second half.
This season, Wolves basically retains the familiar gameplay. It's a solid defense-based kick combined with Raul Jimenez's sharp edge on the attack line. Goalkeeper Rui Patricio has a clean sheet for 3/6 rounds since the beginning of the season. Romain Saiss, Willy Boly, Max Kilman, Conor Coady and Nelson Semedo are combined to form a very solid 5-man defense system. In which, Semedo and Saiss play the wing-back role with comprehensive manual ability. At the top, Jimenez is still as excellent and stable as the two previous seasons, having scored 4 goals / 6 rounds.

However, saying that does not mean Wolves will easily win tonight. Coach Nuno Santo's machine still has worrisome problems in the Crystal Palace clash. The first is that the star Adama Traore has yet to regain his high form this season. Since the beginning of the 2020/21 season, Traore has not had any assists or goals in the Premier League . Traore was not even allowed to play the main kick in the last 3 rounds. It seems that the striker is no longer focused when there is constant information that he is a Liverpool transfer target.

The next concern of Nuno Santo is that their number one striker, Jimenez, is very ungainly in Crystal Palace clashes. Evidence is 331 minutes this striker could not score against Crystal Palace. In the Premier League, there are only 2 teams, Leicester (360) and MU (358), Jimenez, with a longer number of minutes.

Things are even more ominous for Wolves when Crystal Palace is in high form. This team is unbeaten in the last 2 matches. Coach Roy Hodgson's team play is also very uncomfortable, when they focus on solid defense and counterattack based on Wilfried Zaha's speed. The British star has very good escape skills, so Crystal Palace often pumps the ball very quickly for this striker, so that he can use the technique and speed to overcome the defender of the opponent. It can be said that Crystal Palace's stone is quite monotonous and depends a lot on Zaha, but the opponent is not easy to stop.

In the last 4 times to march to Wolves field, Crystal Palace won even more wins with 2 wins, only 1. They have enough points in Wolves' drive.
