Nations League: Poland vs Bosnia

Poland hosted Bosnia-Herzegovina in the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League and knows that the maximum 3 points can be enough to win first place in Group A1. However, with only 3 points difference above and below, the away team has a chance to win a higher position on the rankings.

Poland could call midfielder Jan Bednarek, who missed the draw with Italy due to a one-game ban, the Southampton player is an experienced addition to the defense. While not making it difficult for the Italian defenders, Robert Lewandowski will keep his position in the attack with Napoli's Arkadiusz Milik. When the draw is done for the 2020-21 tournament, many feel that Italy or the Netherlands will come out on top for the UEFA Nations League Finals in 2021. However, Poland and Bosnia-Herzegovina did prove that they are not the laners, and whoever gets the upper hand in their next game will have a chance to reach the final round. Poland made almost no trouble for Italy, only 3 shots in the penalty area, but Jerzy Brzeczek's team was still only 1 point behind the second ranked Azzurri.

Brzeczek could be used on a 2-striker and replaced Jakub Moder, who started the last two matches. Bajevic will almost certainly call back Edin Dzeko, but Miralem Pjanic could be coming from the bench and Armin Hodzic is absent due to suspension. In this group there are very few goals, which has played a key role in keeping the two teams competitive in the halfway stage. Despite having 2 goalless draws on Sunday, Poland and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be the happier team ahead of their clash in Wroclaw. While Bosnia also has similar statistics against the Netherlands, the draw at Zenica left Oranje in high form at risk of losing the top spot. Dusan Bajevic will be hoping that his side has the motivation to take revenge on Poland after seeing his players take a 1-2 defeat in the first leg match last month. Bajevic is still waiting for his first win after being appointed at the end of 2019, and the veteran manager will be aware that he is under increasing pressure after being eliminated from the Euro 2020 play-offs at the hands of the North. Ireland last week.
