Boxing: Terence Crawford vs Kell Brook

The next big World Cup highlight will take place in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) on Saturday night!  "Pound for Pound" star Terence Crawford (36-0-0, 27 Ko’s) will risk his WBO welterweight championship belt against former champion Kell Brook (39-2-0, 27 Ko’s). Fight will start at 7:00 pm ET.

Before the World Cup fight against Kell Brook: Terence Crawford clear favorite!

He is considered to be one of the best boxers in the world right now - Terence Crawford!  The 33-year-old welterweight champion is even listed by some experts as number 1 in the “pound for pound” ranking.  Crawford, who was once allowed to call all four major lightweight world titles his own, was last in the ring in December 2019.

Terence Crawford won against the previously undefeated Egidijus Kavaliauskas (Lithuania) by TKO in the ninth round.  Since then, the welterweight champion has not been in the ring.  But this will change on the weekend!  After an eleven-month break from competition, Crawford will be using his fists again on the grounds of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA).
In the fourth time his WBO belt defended his title, Terence Crawford will not meet a stranger: 34-year-old Kell Brook has been the IBF welterweight champion for three years (2014-2017).  Brook suffered his only two defeats against Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence Jr.

Nevertheless, Kell Brook, who was able to convince the professional audience especially with his point victory over Shawn Porter (August 2014), belonged to the absolute welterweight elite.  Brook was able to win all of his last three fights - two of them prematurely.  Before his next, upcoming World Cup chance, the Briton is considered a clear outsider.  In terms of betting odds, Terence Crawford is currently 18: 1 favorite!
