FA Cup: Newport vs Brighton

Newport vs Brighton

This is obviously a very different match because Newport played as far as League Two (4th place) while everyone knows Brighton has played for several seasons in the highest league in England Premier League.  Therefore, despite the home advantage, few people believe Newport can create miracles.

Moreover, at the present time, this team is in poor performance with 4 consecutive games without winning (losing 2).  However, at the hole, Newport often plays quite well: won 6/8 of the last reception screen (lost 1).  In addition, despite being superior in all aspects, Brighton is facing many problems.

The recent performance of Coach Graham Potter's teachers and students is very bad: the feeling of victory in eight consecutive matches is unknown.  On away field, they also have only 1 triumph after the last 7 matches.  In addition, due to standing next to the group holding the red light in the Premier League, Brighton did not dare to put too much energy into the FA Cup sub-arena.  Most likely, they will only launch the reserve squad.

In the end, the fact that Brighton only accepted 1 draw proved clearly to the experts' underrated rating for this team because it was too low, not really commensurate with Brighton's position and the relationship between the two sides.  It seems Brighton can still go on but will not be simple.

The last meeting of the two teams was in the first round of the English League Cup 2013/14, Brighton lost 1-3 at home.

Newport: Full of forces.
Brighton: Tariq Lamptey, Aaron Connolly, José Izquierdo, Florin Andone and Danny are absent due to injuries;  while Yves Bissouma is suspended;  Steven Alzate and Adam Lallana are still uncertain.
