Serbia vs Portugal

The two most powerful candidates in Group A qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Europe will encounter each other in the second round to determine the number one position.
Serbia vs Portugal

In the first match, striker Mitrovic played brilliantly to help Serbia suffocate to overcome Ireland with the score 3-2.  Meanwhile, Ronaldo had a lackluster day but his team also had a minimal victory over Azerbaijan.

An impressive performance in the middle of the week helped Serbia temporarily rank above Portugal thanks to the goal difference.  This will be a great spiritual boost for the army of coach Dragan Stojkovic in their journey to the World Cup, in the wishes of the people of their homeland.

At the other end of the line, the Portuguese team had 3 full points after the first round, but their performance was not really convincing.  Despite holding the ball 67% and 29 shots in 90 minutes, but the defending champions Euro had to rely on an opponent's defensive mistake to get a goal.

This is definitely not a performance that will bring confidence to "European Selecao".  However, coach Fernando Santos still insists that 3 points are the most important thing, although somewhat "ugly".

In fact, Portugal is in good shape with 4 wins in the last 5 matches, keeping 6 clean sheets in the last 8 matches.  So, more or less Ronaldo and his teammates can be confident in the defensive front.

Serbia has never beaten Portugal in the last six meetings.  However, the current performance allows Stojkovic's teachers and students to have the right to dream.
