The legend of the UFC, Anderson Silva, will face the former world middleweight champion of the WBC, the Mexican Julio Chávez Jr., in the star of professional boxing of the function "Tributo a los Reyes", which will be held this same Saturday, 19 June, at the Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

The fight, which is promoted by Toscano Boxing Promotions, will be televised live by pay-per-view (PPV) in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, through Global Sports Streaming (GSS).

The star fighters participated in the official weigh-in and Chávez Jr. was heavy with 184 pounds and Silva at the agreed limit of 182 pounds.

Anderson Silva, considered by many to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time. Silva, from Curitiba Brazil, was the longest reigning middleweight champion in the UFC and compiled a record of 34 wins with 11 losses and 23 impressive knockouts. His boxing record is 13-1. Chavez, Jr. is 52-5-1 with 34 knockouts.
