UFC Vegas 29: The Korean Zombie vs. Dan Ige

Chan Sung Jung vs Dan Ige

UFC Vegas 29: The Korean Zombie vs.  Dan Ige will be the UFC event with the most Asian fighters participating in this June.

The Korean Zombie vs. Dan Ige

"The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung will return to face old general Dan Ige.  With both fighters willing to shed blood in exchange, Chan Sung Jung vs.  Dan Ige will definitely be an eye-catching match.

In the co-main match, Aleksei Oleinik vs.  Serghei Spivac - two fighters of Eastern European origin - will face off in a match that will decide their place in the top heavyweight division.  Other notable faces at UFC Vegas 29 include Marlon Vera, Choi Seungwoo, Matt Brown, Dhiego Lima, Joaquim Silva, and more.

Boxer nicknamed "Korean Zombie" - Chan Sung Jung returned to the ring after his defeat to Brian Ortega last October.  This defeat also made him lose the right to compete for the UFC championship.  The match on June 19 with Dan Ige will determine the future of this Korean boxer.

“Ige is a fighter with a brutal attack style.  And if he wants, I'm ready to fight to the end."  Sung Jung told the press.

It can be said that this weekend's fight will determine his future in the UFC arena.  Anyway, Sung Jung is 34 years old, he doesn't have much time to fight in MMA.  “I believe that there will come a time when the organizers give me the right to compete for the championship, so I have to win to keep the ranking.  The biggest goal is still the UFC championship title.  However, if I lose, I have to have a good performance."

Currently Sung Jung is ranked 4th in the rankings, and Dan Ige is 8th. The winner of this match will definitely be promoted by UFC for the ticket to the Featherweight championship.  Or at least win the right to face the leader of the rankings, Max Holloway.
