Carabao Cup: Man City 2-1 Bristol City



Manchester City scored 2-1 with Bristol City in the first semi-final match of the EFL Cup, also known as the Carabao Cup.

As the match took place at Etihad Stadium and as the opponent competed in the Championship, Pep Guardiola's team was the favorite to secure the qualification in the first game.
 

However, Bristol has once again shown that it has not casually eliminated Manchester United in the quarterfinals, resisting the Premier League leader.

It was the guest side that passed first in the lead with Bobby Reid's goal from the penalty (44 ') and with this result the first half ended.

In the first half of the second half, Kevin De Bruyne equalized the result after assisting Raheem Sterling (55 ').

And when it was expected that the match would end, Sergio Aguero (90 '+ 2) scored the winning goal.

Manchester City has an easy lead before the return match that takes place in Bristol and continues to be the favorite to qualify for the EFL Cup final.
