Salah crushes Ronaldo from the throne

Mohamed Salah shone on Tuesday night scoring two goals in Liverpool's 5-2 win over Roma in the first semi-final match at Anfield.

In addition to two super goals, the Egyptian winger cared for two more assists for his team-mates in a confrontation where he was the matchmaker.

The two goals last night have led to 43 total goals scored by Salah so far this season, which means that the Liverpool star has surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo as the best scorer on the continent in all competitions.

The 43 Salahs goals have come to only 47 games, though Ronaldo only needed 39 games to score 42 goals.

Ciro Immobile of Lazio completes the top three with 41 goals in 45 games, while Lionel Messi is fourth with 40 goals in 50 appearances.
