Flavored water for hydration!

We all know that water is necessary for our body, for its proper hydration and not only. The problem with this great element of life is that it is tasteless, odorless, and colorless, and therefore not at all attractive to lasting consumption.




 
The problem is intensifying in the summer when our body needs more water, but it is indifferent and boring. Before resorting to the unhealthy solutions offered by various soft drinks and fruit juices packed with sugar and preservatives, try to drink scented water.

Wash a little lemon thoroughly and cut it into washers. Place the washers (along with the peel) in a large glass, and frame them with a few leaves of mint. Fill with ice cubes and iced water. In two minutes, your glass will contain water full of aromas and light sour taste, which will make it much more interesting and easier to consume. Every time you empty your glass, simply fill it with iced water. Drinks are pleasant, has zero calories, and is full of antioxidants and vitamins.

Depending on your taste, you can make inexperienced combinations, preferring organic herbs, fruits and vegetables. Cut them into slices or sticks, add your favorite aromatic herb, fill the jug with water, cover with a transparent film and leave it for at least 1-2 hours in the refrigerator before serving.

  • A bunch of various aromatic herbs
  • Cucumber beets with fresh tarragon, dill or mint
  • Leaves of lemon, orange and lime
  • Leaves of lemon and twigs of rosemary
  • Leaves of lemon and cranberry pineapple
  • Cubes of watermelon with cucumbers and lime
  • Cubes of watermelon and melon
  • Beads of grapefruit and basil sprigs
  • Strawberries cut into two and mint leaves
  • Strawberries and kiwi cut into thin slices
  • Peppers, green-red-orange cut into sticks


You can also try with mastic which in addition to its beneficial effect has a unique flavor In a bottle of water, pour a few mastic tears and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Every time you drink a glass fill with water. Rejuvenate the mastic after two weeks.
