Google is closing Google+



Google will close Google+ version over the next 10 months. The decision follows the discovery of a previous undisclosed security deficiency that has revealed user profile data that was corrected in March 2018. 






Google says Google+ currently has "low use and engagement" and that 90 percent of Google user sessions hold less than five seconds. However, the company plans to keep alive the service of enterprise customers who use it to facilitate conversation among associates.




In addition to Google+, the company announced new privacy settings for the next Google service.
API changes will limit developer access to data for Android and Gmail devices.Developers will no longer receive call and SMS calls for Android devices.
