Chelsea will appoint Lampard coach instead of Sarri

Chelsea leaders have already decided to sack Maurizio Sarrin from the position of coach at the end of this season and instead appoint Frank Lampard, according to Sky Sports Italy.

Derby County coach Frank Lampard has been rumored for a return to Stamford Bridge since starting his career as a trainer at Pride Park this season.

The famous sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzia, who works for Sky Sports Italia, now claims that Chelsea has decided to dismiss Sarr, after only one season, and to name Lampard legend in the position of coach.

"The club has already decided to change the coach and appoint Lampard," Di Marzio writes.

Lampard is enjoying a fantastic season at Derby County, who may also be able to promote them in the Premier League for next season.

Derby will face Aston Villa in the playoffs final of the second-tier football game in England on Monday.

On the other hand, Juventus leaders are already said to have contacted representatives, as they believe the Italian may be the right person to replace Massimiliano Allegri.

Sarri's future at Chelsea is still doubtful, as he has been difficult to improve his relationship with club fans after having been hailed and criticized many times during his debut season in England.

He decided not to applaud and not to greet the fans in the last two matches, where was noted the low number of attendants at the stadium. Fans are also frustrated with Sarri's style of play.
