Croatia πŸ‡πŸ‡· vs Wales 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The golden generation of Croatian football has helped this country for the first time to know the world cup final in the 2018 World Cup. It is an unprecedented achievement to show football. The country of Eastern Europe has had certain developments. However, right after the most successful World Cup in history, Croatia's performance dropped dramatically. In the Nations League, Luka Modric and his team-mates only won one victory, the remaining two lost and drew 1, in which there was Spain's salt-front defeat to 6 goals without a draw.

In the EURO 2020 qualifier, coach Zlatko Dalic's team currently have 3 points after 2 matches including victory against Azerbaijan and a sudden defeat to Hungary. They ranked 4th in the group, this is a rather disappointing rank when Dalic's squad has a series of stars playing in big clubs like Modric, Rakitic, Perisic, Mandzukic or Brozovic. In the third match of the night, Croatia had a chance to improve their position if they won against Wales. The advantage they have is the home base, which has been unbeaten in the last 3 matches including 2 victories and 1 draw.

On the other side of the front line, Wales has made quite solid steps in its development journey thanks to the practical play under coach Ryan Giggs. There are not many stars in the lineup except Gareth Bales, the power of Wales comes from the collective attachment of the team and well-organized defense. In the EURO 2020 qualifier, Bales and his teammates won two minimum victories before Slovakia or Trinidad & Tobago in the first two matches. Challenges will come to them when they must be guests on Croatia's court tonight.
