Darts 2019 - PDC World Championship



The ninth edition of the World Cup of Darts takes place in Hamburg, Germany. The only tournament of the PDC where it is not the individual but the team that comes first. The best two players from each country form a couple and hunt for the world title.

The World Cup of Darts 2019 will be played from 6 to 9 June. Michael van Gerwen and Jermaine Wattimena defend the Dutch title of last season .

England is represented in the World Cup of Darts by Rob Cross and Michael Smith, Gary Anderson and Peter Wright play together for Scotland and Michael van Gerwen forms a duo with Jermaine Wattimena for the first time.  

Participating countries, As usual, 32 countries are participating in this tournament. There are two changes compared to 2018. Philippines and Lithuania have taken the places of Thailand and Switzerland.

Prize money, The PDC has made a prize pool of £ 350,000 available for the World Cup of Darts 2019. Twenty percent of the total prize money goes to the two winners, each receiving £ 35,000. All participants are insured of two thousand pounds.
