Josh Warrington vs Kid Galahad

Boxing: Josh Warrington - Kid Galahad
IBF World Featherweight Title
Saturday (15 June) 19:00 (GMT 0)

One day before the big fight in the First District Arena in Leeds, world champion Josh Warrington (28-0-0, 6 KOs) and challenger Kid Galahad (26-0-0, 15 KOs) clashed.

Friends, the two are probably no longer. When IBF World Champion Josh Warrington and Kid Galahad started to weigh today, there was a lot of trouble in the air. Spurred on by his own fans, it was Warrington in particular who gave in to his emotions. Fortunately, the boxers were separated quickly enough in the confrontation before it could have come to ugly scenes.

Previously, both were able to undercut the prescribed weight limit of 57.153 kg and presented themselves in front of the press and the fans in good physical shape. The featherweight championship will be the clear highlight of tomorrow's event, which will be broadcast on BT Sport in England. If Warrington clears the next strong Brit after Lee Selby and Carl Frampton, all the doors would probably be open.

In the prelude especially the fight between Zelda Barrett (21-1-0, 13 KOs) and Leon Woodstock Jr. (12-1-0, 5 KOs) stands out. In the duel of the two young Britons, the vacant Commonwealth Title super featherweight will be at stake. Also in this case, the required weight was brought, so that everything can proceed in accordance with the regulations.
