Totti can return to football: Leeds with a surprise bid for the legend of Rome

Leeds United is joining a surprising transfer of Italian legend Francesco Totti, even though he retired two years ago from football.

Italian media report that the club from the Championship has made a 42-year-old offer to resume his career at Elland Road.

The legendary striker retired in 2017 from football until he scored 307 goals in 786 appearances for Rome.

He later became the director of the Giallorossi, but earlier this month he left the post to end his 30-year career at the Italian club.

Later, Italian legend made some statements to the leadership of the Italian club for leaving Daniele De Rossi from the team and did not respect it sufficiently.

Former Italian national team player Marco Borriello has confirmed to Sky Sports Italia that a club from England has shown interest in it, as he has told Leeds.

"I know a great leader of an English team has made a bid for Totti to join his club and return to retirement. Radrizzani from Leeds? I do not know, "he said laughing.

Most likely, the Italian legend may return to football after two years of retirement, to show some of his class over the years.
