Coming from underdeveloped football background is Gibraltar so St Josephs started the Europa League this season from the preliminary round. They surpassed Prishtina Club (Kosovo) with a total score of 3-1. However, in the first qualifying round, Gibraltar's team faced a big challenge: Rangers, Scotland's rich club.

The difference between the two teams was clearly shown on the trading floor when Rangers were placed at the top door with a ratio of 1/4 1/4: 0 even though they had to make guests in the first leg tonight. With the deal of the dealer, St Josephs seems to be unavoidable.

In fact, this is just the 3rd St Josephs season to be in the Europa League. In the last 2 seasons they all stopped. In particular, in the 2017-18 season, Gibraltar's team lost to AEL Limssol in the first qualifier with a total of 0-10, including a 0-4 defeat at home.

For Rangers, this is Scotland's experienced club in the European Cup. Last season, Steven Gerrard's team also participated in the first qualifying round but overcame many rivals like Shkupi (Macedonia, Osijek (Croatia), Maribor (Slovakia) or Ufa (Russia) to attend the group stage.
