EFLCup: Liverpool vs Arsenal

Liverpool will be short of forces to welcome Arsenal in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. This will greatly affect the strength of the red brigade.

Liverpool overcame Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup on penalties. Although they have just had a jubilant victory over Shrewsbury Towm in the FA Cup, it is undeniable that they have no longer maintained the sublimation as before.

Calculating, the last 5 matches Liverpool only won 1 match. The attack is still effective, but the defense is extremely lack of concentration when often making mistakes and conceding goals. In the current context, without the service of the duo Mane and Salah, the situation of coach Klopp’s teachers and students is very tense. When they can’t use their attack ability, it’s easy for them to hold a grudge when they get hit with a spear heal.

Arsenal have just disappointed when they lost to weaker team Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup. This is obviously a very disappointing result when the faith that the fans place in the Gunners is great in the context that they have just had an excellent match against Manchester City.

It can be seen that Arsenal still plays in the confident style of individuals. Impressive performance at home but away from home is very convincing. Impressive performance and proved to be quite overwhelming against strong opponents but often made personal mistakes leading to defeat. The recent loss has made fans doubtful about the ability to play away from coach Mikel Arteta’s team. Against a confident opponent at home like Liverpool will make Arsenal difficult.
