EFLCup: Arsenal vs Liverpool

Arsenal drew Liverpool in the first leg. They are showing confidence in the next leg to be played at home.

Arsenal had to play short of players very early in the first leg at Liverpool, but they were still able to hold the opponent. However, the gunner’s current force has been seriously damaged, especially in the midfield with the addition of midfielder Xhaka.

Being at a disadvantage, but Arsenal has a great advantage of being able to play at home. Where they won 7 in the last 8 matches, the only defeat was against Manchester City with a close score. Coach Mikel Arteta’s army gained confidence when playing at their home. This is extremely important because they have a squad of many young players. Promising Arsenal will make a story in the next match.

Liverpool have just won at home against Brentford. 3 points are extremely important in the context that they are being left behind by the top team with a very long distance in the championship race. To be fair, the opponent Brentford is showing very poorly when playing away.

It can be seen that the loss of the duo Mane and Salah makes Liverpool’s attack appear deadlocked. The surge in the upswing is unreal. Therefore, in front of an Arsenal playing confidently at home, it is not easy for Klopp’s teachers and students to defeat the opponent. If they play with lack of concentration, they may completely have to hold a grudge.
