Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Catterall

The undisputed super lightweight world champion (WBA-IBF-WBO-WBC), the undefeated Scotsman Josh Taylor, will be exposing his titles, against the British and also undefeated contender, Jack Catterall, next Saturday, February 26, at “The SSE Hydro”, of Glasgow, Scotland.

The fight, which is promoted by Ultimate Boxxer and Top Rank, will be televised on SKY in the UK and on ESPN in the US.

The stars underwent the strict protocol of the official weigh-in, registering the champion Josh Taylor 140 pounds and the challenger Catterall 139 free, in Glasgow.

The centuries-old rivalry between Scotland and England will be revived when these stars cross cowhide this Saturday in Scotland.

The 30-year-old Scottish champion unified all four titles when he defeated José Carlos Ramírez last May, sending him to the canvas twice, to earn a unanimous decision victory.

With this win, Taylor (18-0, 13 KOs) established himself not only as the best super lightweight in the world, but also as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers working today.
