EPL: Watford vs Everton

Watford have followed Norwich to return to the First Division, which has long been predicted when the performance of coach Roy Hodgson’s teachers and students was very disappointing. Meeting Everton in the 30th round match, the home team is hard to surprise when the opponent is doing all they can to escape a relegation spot.

Receiving a goal on the 11m mark in the 31st minute, Watford could not turn the game around against a disciplined Crystal Palace. Left-back Schlupp received two yellow cards and was sent off in the 68th minute, which is when Watford fans knew it was over. Veteran coach Roy Hodgson could not help them win relegation and this club will have to start from scratch in the Championship.

The first leg of this season ended with a big surprise, Watford defeated Everton at home with a score of 5-2. However, things are different now, the home team has just been relegated in the last round and the morale of the players is definitely affected a lot. Motivation will be the biggest problem for coach Roy Hodgson and his team and at this time, it is very difficult for them to escape a defeat.

The victory over Chelsea was a strong morale boost for Everton, who excitedly entered the march to King Power Stadium and opened the scoring right from the 6th minute. Lampard’s teachers and students won the match. won the final 2-1 to move up to 16th place, 2 points ahead of Leeds and one match left in hand. Their chance of relegation is very bright if they beat Watford in the next match.

Everton handicap of 1/2, anyway, the recent performances of the away team have not brought much confidence. Coach Lampard’s teachers and students did not create many mutations in the attack phase while the defense sometimes revealed many loopholes. Fortunately, Watford is both weak and dismayed, which will greatly increase Everton’s chances of winning.
